How to log in and out?
You don't need to be logged it for downloading subtitles.
You need to be logged in, if you want to help translating subtitles.
Register
If you just want to download files, then you don't need to register.
1. Click the "Create a new account" link
2. make up and enter a username
3. you should enter your email address
4. you may enter the address of you website
5. enter a password for your account
6. enter it once again
7. click the "Join!" button
8. now you are ready to log in
Log in
You need to be registered to be able to log in.
See above how to do it.
1. Click the "Login" link
2. Enter your username for the site
3. Enter your password for the site
4. You can optionally check the checkbox,
but currently the sites memory is very poor.
It does not remember you a long time.
5. Click the "Login" button
6. You will notice some new links:
- one to your profile
- one to your messages
- one for uploading subtitles
Log out
Click the "Logout" link in the upper right corner of the page.
If you need more help, see the picture on the left.
How to search?
1. Enter the name (or part of the name) of the movie, you want to find
2. Click the "Search" button
3. If there are more seasons from the show, you can choose one
(in the example I choose the 1st season)
4. Now choose an episode
(in the exapmle I choose the 4th episode)
5. If everything went fine, then you have found what you want.
6. If the subtitle is available in your language, then you can download (1) or edit (2) it.
7. If not, you can start translating it, by clicking "Start a new translation" (3)
How to start a new translation?
1. Log in (see above for detailed instructions)
2. Search for the subtitle you want to translate (see above for detailed instructions)
3. Click the "Start a new translation" link
4. Choose the new language you want to tranlate from (if the are more options ;)
5. Choose the new language you want to tranlate to
6. Click the "Translate" button
How to continue a translation?
1. Search for the subtitle, you want to continue translating
2. If you click "view & edit" (1), then you see only the already translated strings
3. If you click "join translation" (2), then you can continue the translation
The translation itself
You can click any "- Untranslated -" string, and translate it.
You don't have to go straight, you can skipp any line.
If you clicked an "- Untranslated -" link,
you still have the possibility to leave it untranslated.
You just need to click the "Cancel" button.
But if you translated the line,
then you have to click the "Translate" button,
otherwise the page wont save it.
